Freelance Packaging Designer

32-40 hour a week with at least 80% in our office in Amsterdam 

60-85 euros/ hour

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Packaging Designer with expertise in non-food consumer products to create eye-catching, market-ready packaging designs. You’ll collaborate with our team to develop packaging that aligns with brand guidelines, engages customers, and stands out on shelves. If you have a strong portfolio in packaging design and thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, we’d love to work with you! 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Concept Development: Generate multiple design ideas, sketches, and mockups for packaging. 

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to existing brand styles. 

• Technical Execution: Create print-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (knowledge of InDesign is a plus). 

• Collaboration: Participate in kick-off meetings with Project Managers, copywriters, and other stakeholders. 

• Innovation: Deliver fresh, creative proposals while maintaining functional and production-friendly designs. 

• Revisions & Adaptations: Refine designs based on feedback and technical requirements. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience in packaging design for consumer products. 

• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (InDesign is a bonus). 

• Strong understanding of packaging specifications, materials, and print processes. 

• Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand styles, and meet deadlines. 

• A portfolio showcasing packaging design projects. 

• Please bring your own laptop and design software.
