Are you looking for a position in which you can combine your commercial insight with your administrative know-how? Then read on!

In this challenging position within our sales department, you support your colleagues in the field where necessary, resulting in; successful sales orders. When the sale is closed, you ensure that the administrative process is efficient and structured, so that a smooth handling can be guaranteed for our national and international customers.

You are involved in the entire process, from creating the quotations to coordinating the delivery. You ensure that the closed sales order is entered correctly in the system and you communicate all customer-specific wishes with the purchasing department. You supervise that the products arrive at the customers on time and as agreed. Not going according to plan? Then you intervene immediately, look for a suitable solution and inform the involved parties. You don’t have to do this alone, because you work closely with your colleagues in the office and the account managers in the field. You also interact a lot with colleagues from purchasing, logistics (planning, warehouse, import) and finance.

  • Supporting the sales activities of the account managers.
  • Drafting (digital) product presentations/mailings.
  • Ensure and monitor correct administration regarding sales orders, product specifications and customer data, such as preparing quotations and correct and complete entry of incoming customer orders.
  • Handling all customer questions regarding, among other things, product specifications and orders, by telephone and digitally.
  • Optimizing content for the B2B webshop, so that customers can find information easily.
  • Think along about efficient working processes and information processes within the sales process.
  • Ensure proactive cooperation and communication with the other departments.

Job requirements

Your talents

As a commercial sales assistant you have a helicopter view and you work in a structured and accurate way. You know how to set the right priorities and proactively look for solutions.

In addition, you have:


  • Several years of experience in a similar position.
  • MBO/HBO thinking and working ability.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Dutch and English language in written word. Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
  • You are handy with Excel. Calculation formulas, pivot tables and vertical search are a piece of cake for you.
  • You have experience with data management systems.
  • You have great communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
