We are currently looking for a Key Accountmanager to expand our team in Amsterdam (B2B retail) for the German market. Together with your colleagues from the sales team you will continue to sell our large assortment of cool, practical and sustainable products to our Eastern neighbors. In this position you are responsible for expanding our customer base and growing the current relationships.
Your base location will be our NL office, but we prefer for you to visit your customers as much as possible to strengthen the relation and introduce our newest items. The ratio office / customer visits will be around 70/30.
In detail you:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in Germany;
Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth;
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients;
Provide excellent customer service and support;
Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs;
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients;
Monitor market trends and competitor activities;
Meet sales targets and objectives;
Travel within Germany for client meetings and business development.
Job requirements
Requirements:
Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a commercial field
At least 5 years of experience in key-accountmanagement, preferably in FMCG or non-food
Strong negotiation skills and a proven commercial track record
Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
Strong helicopter view with the ability to oversee complex projects and interdependencies.
Proven project management skills to coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
Independent, analytical, and results-driven
Fluent in Germany and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Willingness to travel (inter)nationally when necessary
