Job description

We are looking for a Brand Manager to shape how Karsten’s brands look, feel, and perform in the market. This role combines creative direction with a strong commercial mindset, translating insights into clear brand concepts and consistent execution.

You will be responsible for defining creative direction, developing structured briefs, and working closely with Studio, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure all brand activities are aligned with strategy and business objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

Brand Strategy & Insights

  • Lead market research to track consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities

  • Define target audiences and analyze competitors to strengthen positioning

  • Develop integrated brand and marketing strategies across channels

    Brand Development & Design

  • Drive brand identity evolution and ensure consistency across touchpoints

  • Lead creative direction, translating strategy into concepts and briefs

  • Support premiumization to enhance brand perception and value

    Commercial Brand Management

  • Collaborate on product assortment, pricing, and promotions to drive performance

  • Ensure brand consistency across teams, partners, and agencies

  • Evaluate initiatives with a commercial, shopper-focused mindset

    Planning & Leadership

  • Manage brand projects, timelines, and priorities across workstreams

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Design, Buying, and Sales

  • Guide stakeholders to ensure effective execution of brand initiatives

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in brand management, brand marketing, or brand strategy, preferably within consumer goods or retail-driven environments.

  • Proven experience developing and executing brand strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate brand initiatives through a retail and shopper perspective.

  • Experience leading brand development, repositioning, or rebranding initiatives.

  • Ability to translate market insights into clear and actionable creative direction.

  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading brand initiatives across multiple product categories.
