Job description

What will you do as a License Brand Manager?

As our License Brand Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our licensed product portfolio. You’ll own the strategic vision, brand development, and partner relationships for our licensed brands—ensuring creative excellence and commercial success from concept to shelf.

Your responsibilities include:

The focus is mainly on vision, development and management of the licenses, also maintaining contact with the license holders, check marketing promotions  with licensors on our products, looking for new ideas for the current licenses and finding new interesting licenses.

 

  •          New development proposals

  •          Moodboards

  •          Sales forecasts

  •          Closely involved in Product Development, Design and Buying

 

Core tasks for ordering (Pre-Order):

  •          Develop Brand strategy and styleguide

  •          Develop new product ranges, range proposals in new styles

  •          Relationship management with Licensors (product portals, updates, forecasts etc.)

  •          Product innovation and development proposals for sales / buyers / Licensors.

  •          Create clear briefings for design to develop artworks for product / packaging / Rendering / 3D samples

  •          Arrange sample requests including packaging to the buyers (buyers stay responsible)

  •          Sample (deadlines) monitoring

Core tasks after ordering (Post-order):

Often closely coincide with PJM and Design:

  •          Organize in time final artwork files for PP and MP samples (Product artworks / Rating labels / Packaging / etc.) and check approvals with licensors for approval.

  •          Monitor incoming PP and MP samples, and send out to Licensors for approval.

  •          Check quality and artworks and approve for mass production.

  •          Manage and control PP and MP samples for own storage / Customers / Licensors / Sales samples

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • 5+ years in brand management, licensing, or product development

  • Proven success managing entertainment/lifestyle licensed brands

  • Exceptional creative vision with commercial acumen

  • Strong negotiator with licensor management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
