Job description

We are looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our office in China. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Inside Sales team and one or more Account Managers, ensuring smooth execution of sales activities and high-quality customer service.

You will play an important role in preparing quotations, handling sales administration, and supporting customer communication. Working closely with Account Managers, the Inside Sales Team Leader, and colleagues from Product Management, Financial Administration, and Supply Chain, you will contribute to efficient sales processes and accurate information flow across departments.

This position requires a structured, proactive, and service-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will be a key support function within the sales organization, helping to coordinate sales projects, monitor progress, and ensure timely follow-up with customers and internal teams.

Your activities:

  • Prepare quotations and support sales administration

  • Provide samples and respond to customer inquiries professionally

  • Monitor the progress of sales projects (production, artwork, certification, delivery)

  • Maintain accurate data and reporting in NAV

  • Support Account Managers and the Inside Sales Team Leader in daily operations

  • Coordinate customer communications and mailings

  • Identify and follow up on sales-related issues when they arise

Job requirements

Must Have Experience

  • HBO thinking and working level

  • Several years of relevant work experience in a sales, commercial, or administrative role

  • Experience supporting sales activities and communicating with customers

  • Knowledge of administrative processes and sales administration

  • Strong personal and professional time management skills

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant business systems (preferably NAV)

  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written

  • Ability to work accurately, structured, and organized

Nice to have

  • Experience working in an international or cross-cultural business environment

  • Strong customer focus with clear communication skills

  • Experience coordinating sales projects from quotation to delivery

  • Experience supporting Account Managers or an Inside Sales team

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, operational environment

  • Experience working in a role with significant screen-based work
