At Karsten International, we process approximately 9,000 applications annually. Recruitment therefore plays a crucial role within our organization. In this position, you will not only be responsible for attracting the right talent, but also for further professionalizing our recruitment strategy, employer branding, and candidate journey. 

As a Senior Corporate Recruiter, you will act as a true business partner to hiring managers and management. You will advise on workforce planning, labor market developments, recruitment strategies, and hiring challenges on both an operational and tactical level. At the same time, you remain closely involved in execution: managing vacancies, conducting interviews, guiding candidates, and ensuring successful hires. 

In addition, you will take the lead in further developing the recruitment team. You will coach the two recruiters, help them grow professionally, and actively steer quality, KPIs, and results. 


What will you do?

  • Act as a strategic business partner for management and hiring managers in the area of recruitment and workforce planning.  

  • Translate organizational goals into an effective recruitment strategy.  

  • Analyze recruitment data, conversion rates, funnels, and KPIs to continuously optimize processes.  

  • Take responsibility for recruitment forecasting, recruitment budgets, and recruitment marketing.  

  • Strengthen employer branding, labor market communication, and content strategy.  

  • Set up and optimize online recruitment campaigns and social media strategies.  

  • Lead, coach, and support the two recruiters within the team.  

  • Monitor and improve the candidate experience and employee journey.  

  • Manage vacancies from A to Z: intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management.  

  • Build talent pools and maintain relevant professional networks.  

  • Identify market trends and opportunities within recruitment and employer branding.  

  • Continuously improve and professionalize recruitment processes and tools.

Job requirements

You are analytically strong, commercially minded, and capable of positioning recruitment strategically within an organization. You combine vision with hands-on execution and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where you contribute both strategically and operationally when needed. 

In addition, you have: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or recruitment marketing.  

  • Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, and social media strategies.  

  • Experience with data analysis, KPI management, recruitment funnels, and forecasting.  

  • Experience managing stakeholders at management level.  

  • Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues/team members.  

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.  

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset.
