Job description

We are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior Technical DTP’er to take full ownership of manual creation across all product categories. In this role, you are responsible for the entire process from brief intake to final delivery ensuring all manuals are technically correct, well-structured, and ready for both print and digital use. You work in a fast-paced, production-driven in-house environment where accuracy, consistency, and efficiency are key. This is not a conceptual design role, but a position focused on structure, technical execution, and workflow ownership.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality manuals that support packaging, product information, and compliance across a wide range of retail products. Working closely with Project Managers, Copy, QC, Buying, and Traffic, you ensure that every manual meets brand guidelines, formatting standards, and production requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full manual creation process from brief to final delivery, including layout structuring, typesetting, formatting, and image optimization

  • Creating clear, structured, and reader-friendly manuals, combining content from multiple sources into one consistent document

  • Preparing print-ready and digital-ready files, ensuring all output meets brand guidelines, formatting standards, and compliance requirements

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously within tight production timelines while maintaining accuracy and consistency

  • Improving workflows and contributing to standardization, while reducing revision rounds through high-quality delivery

  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Project Management, Copy, QC, Buying, and Traffic

  • Supporting users with documentation and guidance to ensure efficient use of templates and tools

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • MBO or HBO degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Communication & Multimedia Design, or similar

  • Around 5+ years of experience in a DTP manual-focused role within retail or FMCG

  • Strong experience creating structured, print-ready manuals and working with long documents (master pages, styles, tables of contents)

  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, with solid knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Experience combining content from multiple sources into structured documents and working within brand guidelines

  • Understanding of packaging legislation, iconography, compliance, and print production (prepress, offset, digital)

  • Experience with workflow optimization, automation tools or Adobe plugins (scripts, actions, AI tools)

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, KREA or similar

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or FMCG production environment
