Job description
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, growing, and optimizing strategic customer relationships. You identify commercial opportunities with both existing and potential clients and translate these into profitable partnerships. With your market expertise, negotiation skills, and solution-driven mindset, you play a key role in achieving the company’s growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand key accounts both domestically and internationally.
Acquire new clients within relevant sectors (retail, wholesale).
Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms of delivery.
Analyze customer needs and market opportunities; develop tailored proposals.
Create and execute account plans and meet agreed sales targets.
Collaborate closely with internal departments such as procurement and inside sales.
Represent the company at (international) trade shows.
Report performance metrics and forecasts to the management team.
Job requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a commercial field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a B2B sales role, ideally in FMCG or non-food.
Proven negotiation skills and a strong commercial track record.
Strategic thinker with a customer-focused and entrepreneurial attitude.
Self-starter, analytical, and result-driven.
Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
Willingness to travel (inter)nationally when required.
