In this challenging job, you will help develop creative hobby products and offer support to the buyer in every area.
The Commercial Buying Assistant manages and coordinates all incoming work for the team of the category Hobby products. This team plays a supporting role to the Category Buyer and works directly with colleagues from Buying, Project Management, Graphic Design, Copywriting, and Suppliers.
- Manage development projects for new products within the category. From product idea to packaging design, you support the involved stakeholders in their daily tasks and make sure it runs smoothly.
- Coordinate and plan all requests and tasks for the team. The hobby team exists of Creative Products Specialists and a Designer - Developer.
- Information hub: gather updates from the team and serve as a key link between the team, buyer, design, marketing, quality, and suppliers.
- Project management: oversee the entire development process, from initial idea to final prototype and sample testing.

Job requirements
Your talents:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a willingness to learn.
- Completed MBO or HBO education in purchasing and/or administration.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
- Excellent knowledge and command of Microsoft Office; advanced in the use of Excel.
- Reliable, accurate and good administrative skills.
- You have an affinity with retail.
