Digital Transformation & IT Excellence Lead

You’ll lead the digital transformation at Karsten International by driving the development of internal proprietary tools, processes, and platforms to empower the business and operational teams to work smarter. You’ll bridge strategy and execution, ensuring our digital ecosystem (Internal proprietary systems across operations and ecommerce, but also external tools including ERP, BI, CRM and beyond) fuels innovation and efficiency across the organization, master and takes full ownership of the IT delivery process, from requirements gathering to delivery and business readiness.   

We are looking for a candidate with a strong IT Program Management background, who is highly energetic about delivering the highest commercial business value first, through digital change by applying the agile delivery methodologies.  

Your responsibilities include:

Digital Transformation Leadership  

• Work closely with all internal stakeholders to drive the digitization of business processes and ways of working across all departments  

• Master’s and takes full ownership of the IT delivery process, end-to-end. From Digital Roadmap creation to requirements gathering, prioritization, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, business readiness, go-live planning, handover, documentation, and business acceptance  

• Champion change management initiatives by identifying digital opportunities, leading the implementation, and ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies  

• Be responsible for the monthly business change processes, ensuring all business and operational stakeholders accept the digital product 

IT digital ecosystem 

• Take full ownership of our digital ecosystem, including internal proprietary systems across operations and ecommerce, but also external tools, including ERP, BI, CRM, and beyond  

• Manage relationships with outsourced IT development/ SaaS partners and vendors to ensure quality and alignment, maximize value with a focus on scalability and ROI  

Platform & Data Excellence  

• Optimize analytics platforms (PowerBI, CRM) for better decision-making  

• Ensure data integrity and governance across all systems  

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies that could benefit our operations  

What we are looking for:

• A track record of owning IT/digital transformation in mid-sized or multinational companies.  

• Hybrid expertise: Strong technical skills (Agile development methodologies) paired with change leadership including driving the adoption of the change.  

• A digitally fluent mindset: You modernize legacy systems, advocate for smart tooling, and obsess over user adoption.  

• Business-first approach: You translate IT solutions into growth—whether through automation, data insights, or workflow redesign.  

• Fluency in English; Dutch and Mandarin is a plus.
