The Head of Sales is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the commercial strategy of the organization. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on sales execution, team management, customer relationship development across B2B, B2C, and retail channels. The role includes varying levels of autonomy, strategic ownership, and responsibility for revenue targets. 

The Head of Sales reports to the Chief Operating Officer and manages the entire sales team (including Teamleaders, Account Managers and Sales Support). The role collaborates closely with Buying, Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and Design. 

 

Your responsibilities include: 

· Develop and execute the commercial annual plan. 

· Lead the account management and sales support team. 

· Identify market and customer needs; analyze trends and competition. 

· Manage quotations, proposals, negotiations, and presentations. 

· Expand the customer base through cold acquisition and partnerships. 

· Initiate and manage sales campaigns in collaboration with marketing. 

· Report sales results and KPIs to senior management. 

· Ensure accurate and consistent use of CRM and other sales tools. 

· Lead commercial participation at trade fairs and events. 

Job requirements

· Has completed a relevant Bachelor’s or master's degree in business, Commerce, or a related field. 

· Has at least 7 years of experience in sales and commercial team management. 

· Operates independently and makes high-level commercial decisions. 

· Acts as a strategic counterpart to executive leadership. 

· Has sound knowledge of CRM systems and sales pipeline management. 

· Has excellent command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. 

· Has good command of the English language in speech and writing. 

· Has proven experience in international sales and participation in trade shows. 

· Develops and implements business models, pricing structures, and long-term strategies. 

· Functions as a sparring partner at board level and manages complex sales environments.
