Product Specialist Electronics

We are looking for a Product Specialist Electronics to support the development and quality of our consumer electronics, toys, and smart devices. In this role, you are responsible for testing products, assessing quality, and advising on improvements.

You work closely with Buying, Quality, and Compliance to ensure products meet the required standards and perform as expected. You stay up to date with market developments and contribute to improving both existing and new products.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, product-driven environment where accuracy, ownership, and a practical mindset are key.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing consumer products from concept through to production

• Creating and optimizing 3D CAD designs with a focus on manufacturability and assembly

• Generating visualizations and presentations for internal and external use

• Validating designs with suppliers and factories

• Maintaining documentation, version control, and technical files

• Performing and documenting IP checks to ensure product uniqueness

• Supporting and improving existing products

• Communicating with manufacturers on product development topics

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor (HBO) level, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Product Development, or a technical field, with around 1+ year of experience in a technical or product-focused role within retail or consumer goods

• Affinity with consumer electronics, toys, smart devices, soldering, and quality control, with a practical and analytical way of working

• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset, able to work with different teams

• Familiarity with EU regulations for consumer products is a plus, or willingness to learn

• Good command of English (spoken and written) and based in the Amsterdam area, available to work at least 80% from the office
