The Sample Manager will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of incoming and outgoing product samples. This role focuses on the organization, labeling, storage, and tracking of samples to ensure efficient operations and easy accessibility within the system. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong organizational mindset, and the ability to maintain a systematic approach to sample management.

Job requirements
Process Development & Implementation:
Design and implement a new process for managing the entire lifecycle of incoming and outgoing samples.
Develop workflows for receiving, labeling, storing, tracking, and distributing samples.
Create procedures to ensure sample inventory is organized, easily retrievable, and accurately tracked at all times.
Sample Labeling & Documentation:
Establish and implement a system for labeling all incoming samples with DYMO labels (e.g., barcodes, QR codes, or numbering systems).
Develop clear documentation and record-keeping methods for all incoming and outgoing samples.
Storage & Organization:
Properly store samples in designated storage areas, ensuring they are easy to locate and in good condition.
Organize samples in a systematic manner to maintain order and accessibility for future use or distribution.
Set up physical storage areas or shelving units that will house the samples, ensuring they are stored safely and are easy to access.
Inventory Control:
Regularly check and update sample stock levels, ensuring that inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
Coordinate the intake of new samples and removal of outdated or expired samples to keep the sample library current.
Sample Retrieval & Distribution:
Ensure quick and accurate retrieval of samples when required by internal departments, customers, or other stakeholders.
Organize the safe and efficient shipping of samples to relevant parties, ensuring all outgoing samples are documented and tracked.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all samples are inspected for quality before storage or shipment, and that any defective or outdated samples are discarded or flagged.
Job requirements
Your talents:
Education: MBO education in Business, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, sample handling, or a similar role.
Experience with sample organization, labeling, and tracking systems is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Familiar with inventory management software or databases; knowledge of Excel is a plus.
Knowledge:
Familiar with best practices for inventory management and sample tracking; eager to develop and implement clearer processes for managing inbound and outbound samples.
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics.
Key Competencies:
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring that samples are properly labeled, stored, and tracked accurately.
Time Management: Efficient in handling incoming and outgoing samples within tight deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Able to resolve issues related to misplacement, errors in tracking, or sample discrepancies.
Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments for sample requests and coordination.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move samples or packages.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, depending on the tasks.
