Karsten International is continuously advancing to enhance and expand our global market position in the FMCG industry. To support these ambitions, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Traffic / Artwork Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
As the Traffic / Artwork Coordinator, you will be the steady force amidst the fast pace, maintaining focus as you manage multiple tasks across various ongoing projects. You will oversee the entire design lifecycle, from initial briefing and gathering assets to ensuring the final artwork is sent to suppliers for production. Your role includes scheduling design tasks for copywriters, product, and packaging designers, while also keeping other departments informed on project progress. Additionally, you will track the approval process to guarantee timely delivery of packaging and artwork for production.
The tasks of a Traffic / Artwork Coordinator include:
Manage project workflows and schedules to ensure timely delivery of packaging projects.
Assign tasks to team members based on their skills, availability, and project priorities.
Monitor project progress and identify potential bottlenecks or issues that may impact deadlines or deliverables.
Coordinate with internal teams, including designers, copywriters, and production staff, to ensure smooth project execution and communication.
Serve as a liaison between different departments to facilitate collaboration and alignment on project goals and requirements.
Track project resources, ensuring that projects are delivered within scope and budget constraints.
Communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables to the head of design internal teams and clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes.
Collaborating with various departments and external parties such as licensors.
Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements aimed at artwork development.
Your team:
This role is part of the Design team and reports to the Head of Design. You will collaborate with other Traffic / Artwork Coordinators, serving as the bridge between Product Managers, Sales, Quality, Production, and external partners.
Job requirements
Education and skills:
2+ years in a similar or same role.
MBO level of education and thinking, with experience in project-based administrative work.
Experience in project management, with a talent for structuring, planning, and organizing.
Strong communication skills; you enjoy working with both internal and external parties.
Positive, proactive, result-driven, flexible and stress resistant.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus.
Experience with various systems (e.g., MS Office, Artwork Approval software, and licensing portals.)
Previous experience within and agency or production company is highly advantageous.
