Do you have a can do mindset and have you worked in retail previously? Then read on.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Quality Support that can make sure our great Karsten-products will be sold safe and timely at our retail clients. You will support our quality manager in evaluating products begin to end and file the reports connected to this. Together with the Quality team you will work closely with the colleagues from Product Management and our team in China. You ensure that all our products comply with the legal requirements and follow the development of laws and regulations within the product groups in which Karsten International is active. In addition, you have contact with our suppliers, labs and inspection companies.


Your activities:

  • Support quality managers with product reports;
  • Evaluate test reports and draw conclusions;
  • Advice our buyers on improvements;
  • Coordinate items from sourcing to shipment;
  • Take responsibility for the technical file of an item.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Preferably a few years of experience in a retail environment;
  • You have an eye for detail and have a pragmatic mindset;
  • Preferably some knowledge of EU legislation for nonfood items or willingness to learn this; 
  • Easy in using several (quality) tools;
  • Previous experience in product-safety legislation;
  • Good language skills in English;
  • You live in or around Amsterdam and are able to work from to office minimal 80%.
